Psychiatric Care & Medication Management for Teens, Young Adults & Beyond
Warm, collaborative support to help you feel more like yourself — and build a plan that actually fits your life.
Let’s Start Here
Maybe you've been struggling for a while — with focus, mood, sleep, anxiety, or just a persistent sense that something feels off. Maybe you've tried to push through it, or you're not sure whether what you're experiencing is something medication could even help with. Maybe you've heard things about psychiatric care that made you hesitant — and a part of you wonders if it's really worth it. Or maybe you're ready. Ready to finally talk to someone who will take you seriously, explain things clearly, and actually listen. Someone who won't make you feel like a checklist. If any of that sounds familiar, you're in exactly the right place.
What would you say to someone who’s nervous or unsure about starting therapy?
Hi, I'm Olivia Davis, a psychiatric nurse practitioner at Tides Mental Health. I know that reaching out for psychiatric support can feel like a big step — and it's okay if you have questions, doubts, or past experiences that make you cautious. I want you to know that those feelings are always welcome here. We'll take things at your pace, and we'll figure out together what kind of support makes the most sense for you.

Hi, I'm Olivia Davis, a psychiatric nurse practitioner at Tides Mental Health. I know that reaching out for psychiatric support can feel like a big step — and it's okay if you have questions, doubts, or past experiences that make you cautious. What It’s Like to Work Together
Working with Olivia doesn't feel like a clinical intake or a rushed appointment. Sessions are warm, conversational, and genuinely down-to-earth. Think of it less like a formal evaluation and more like an honest conversation with a trusted advisor — someone who is curious about your story, not just your symptoms. Olivia believes that medication is one tool, not a magic fix and not the only answer. Every treatment plan she builds is individualized, grounded in shared decision-making, and designed around your goals, your values, and what you're actually comfortable with. She'll walk you through your options clearly, make sure you know what to expect, and adjust the plan as you go. Nothing happens without your input. She also places a strong emphasis on the bigger picture — including lifestyle factors, how stress and identity and culture shape your mental health, and how collaboration with your therapist or other providers can make care feel more cohesive and complete. At Tides, your therapy and psychiatric care teams work together, so you never have to repeat yourself or fall through the cracks.
What can clients expect it to feel like in a session with you?
A session with me is pretty conversational — there's no script, no stuffy clinical checklist. We talk, we figure things out together, and there's room for honesty, humor, and real-life questions. My goal is for you to feel comfortable enough to say what's actually going on — because that's where the most helpful conversations start.
What’s one reason you’re passionate about the work you do?
What draws me to this work is how deeply human it is. Mental health care isn't one-size-fits-all — it takes real curiosity about who someone is, where they come from, and what they're working toward. I've always been fascinated by the intersection of science and human connection, and getting to support people at that intersection every day — that's what keeps me here.
