Associate Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist
Therapy for Families, Couples & Individuals Navigating Anxiety, Trauma & Relationship Struggles
Warm, relational support to help you feel more connected, understood, and empowered to move forward.
Let’s Start Here
Something feels off — in your relationship, in your family, or maybe just inside yourself. You might be exhausted by the same arguments that never seem to resolve, or quietly carrying anxiety that shows up in your body before your mind even catches up. You may be a parent watching your child struggle and not knowing how to help, or a teen trying to figure out where you belong.
You don't have to have the words for it yet. What matters is that you showed up. Whatever you're navigating — big feelings, complicated relationships, old wounds, or a season of life that just feels too heavy — you deserve a space to slow down, be honest, and start to find your way through.
Ease nerves about starting therapy.
Hi, I'm Sarah, a therapist at Tides Mental Health. Starting therapy can feel like a big step — and you might not even know exactly what you want to say yet. That's completely okay. We'll figure it out together, at your pace. I'm here to create a space where you feel safe, heard, and never judged. I'd love to connect — reach out for a free consultation whenever you're ready

What It’s Like to Work Together
Our sessions are a place where nothing is off the table. You set the pace, and we work together to make sense of what's happening in your life, your relationships, and inside yourself. Whether you're coming in as an individual, a couple, or a family, you'll find that our work is honest, grounded, and shaped entirely around what you need. Together, we'll explore the stories you've been telling yourself — about who you are, what you deserve, and how close you're allowed to let people get. Using Narrative and Emotionally Focused approaches, we can gently examine where those stories came from and whether they're still serving you. We'll look at patterns in your relationships, not to assign blame, but to understand them — and to open up new possibilities. If you're coming in with a child, we'll use play-based approaches to help them express what they can't always put into words. If you're working through something in your relationship or family, we'll create space for everyone's experience to be heard. And if anxiety or old wounds are part of the picture, we'll build tools that help you feel steadier and more in control — one step at a time.
What does a session feel like?
Sessions with me are warm and conversational — nothing feels forced or clinical. We might explore something from the past, talk through what's happening right now, or just sit with something that's been hard to say out loud. You're always in the driver's seat. I'm here to walk alongside you, not to tell you what to do. If something doesn't feel right, we talk about that too.
Why I’m Passionate About This Work.
I became a therapist because I believe that relationships are at the heart of everything — our pain, our healing, and our joy. I've seen how much changes when people finally feel safe enough to be honest with the people they love. That kind of connection is possible for everyone, and I feel privileged to help make space for it. This work matters deeply to me, and so do the people I get to do it with.
