Let’s Start Here
Something feels off — and you've been carrying it for a while now. Maybe you're moving through a major change and can't find your footing. Maybe you've been in relationships that left you feeling small, lost, or unsure of where you end and others begin. You deserve space to figure it out — without pressure, without judgment, and without having to have all the answers before you walk in the door. You've already taken the hardest step just by being here.
What would you say to someone who’s nervous or unsure about starting therapy?
Hi, I'm Juliette, a therapist at Tides Mental Health. Starting therapy can feel a little nerve-wracking — and that's completely okay. You don't have to have it figured out before we begin. You're in the driver's seat: you decide the pace, what you share, and what this process looks like. I'd love to be part of your journey. Reach out for a free consultation — I'd be honored to meet you.

What It’s Like to Work Together
Our sessions are warm, collaborative, and shaped around what you need. Some days, we'll work through something concrete together — maybe exploring a thought pattern that keeps pulling you back, or building a new skill for managing overwhelming emotions. Other days, we'll slow down and sit with something deeper, tracing how your past experiences are showing up in your life today. You're not a passive participant here. Together, we'll look at the different parts of you — the ones that protect, the ones that carry old pain — and start to understand how they've shaped the way you move through the world. We'll also pay attention to how your body holds stress and history, because healing isn't just a mental process. Sessions can be as structured or as open as you need them to be. Whether we're working through specific goals, exploring your identity and values, or just finally giving something the space it deserves — we'll move at your pace, together.
What can clients expect it to feel like in a session with you?
Our sessions are a space where you don't have to perform or have it together. We might talk, we might try something creative, we might slow way down — it really depends on what you need that day. The most important thing is that you feel safe and that you're never pushed faster than you're ready to go. I'll be right there with you, every step of the way.
What’s one reason you’re passionate about the work you do?
I became a therapist because I believe everyone deserves to feel like they belong in their own story. So many people I work with have spent years shrinking themselves or carrying shame that was never theirs to carry. It's an honor to be part of the moment when that starts to change — when someone starts to see their own worth clearly, maybe for the first time.
