Gina Alexandres

Introducing Gina Alexandres, who brings trauma-informed care and a multicultural focus to her practice while utilizing various treatment modalities such as CBT, TF-CBT, strength-based, solution-focused, and mindfulness interventions. Other areas of expertise include, but are not limited to, depression, anxiety, PTSD, grief (including pet loss), life transitions/adjustment, and addressing life stressors.

Gina’s prior work experience includes working with individuals from all walks of life in community mental health settings, particularly related to caregivers and their loved ones, older adults, and refugee populations.

Gina considers herself patient, compassionate, and empathetic, providing her clients with the necessary tools they need within a healing space. She meets her clients where they are and offers a non-judgmental approach. With the ability to view situations from different perspectives, she encourages her clients to experience unconditional acceptance and self-love as they learn to understand themselves on a deeper level.

Gina holds a Master’s degree in Social Work from DePaul University. When working with Gina, you can expect to engage in transformative work to help you achieve your goals.
